Four shared measurement platforms support the daily work of LCS teams. Particularly noteworthy is the IR platform (VISIO), based on the laboratory’s longstanding expertise, which has reached a very high level of maturity, recognized internationally. The solid NMR development well underway has been located since early 2017 within a shared platform with the LCMT Laboratory, the Centre Commun de Résonance Magnétique Nucléaire Caennais – CCRC. The other two platforms concern synthesis and physical characterization (created in 2009), as well as catalysis and chemisorption.
