Rodrigo Valderrama-Zapata is a doctoral candidate in Chemical Engineering at the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), Colombia. He has been affiliated with the Centro de Investigaciones en Catálisis (CICAT, by its Spanish acronym) for over nine years, where he is currently developing his doctoral thesis, which focuses on proposing a kinetic model to represent promotion behavior in hydrodesulfurization reactions. In 2020, he graduated as a Chemical Engineer (with honors) from the same university. He was also the coordinator of the "Semillero de Investigación - CICAT" program from the research group for bachelor's students in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering for the last two and a half years.
