Research at the LCS relies on the skills of the Zeolites and Spectrocat teams. It also relies on the support of our technical and administrative staff.

Thanks to the recognized skills of its researchers and technicians, the LCS is at the forefront of innovation in chemistry, particularly in the development of porous materials and advances in spectroscopy.

Our five specialized platforms feature a wide range of cutting-edge equipment. These platforms cover key areas: porous materials synthesis, adsorption, catalysis, solid-state NMR characterization and vibrational spectroscopy… Find out more in our organizational chart.

Organigramme

The LCS is under the triple supervision of the CNRS,ENSICAEN and the University of Caen Normandy(UNICAEN). The CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) supports the laboratory by providing resources and access to national and international research networks. ENSICAEN, the École Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Caen, hosts and supports the LCS in its applied research projects. Finally, the University of Caen Normandy (UNICAEN) strengthens the LCS’s links with training and higher education, enabling students to contribute to the laboratory’s research work.
