PhD offer – Deactivation and regeneration of catalyst followed using hyperpolarized 129Xe NMR.

24 February 2014

PastedGraphic-1In the frame of methodological developments in Solid State Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in the LCS, a system providing hyper-polarized 129-Xenon has been built. Using this system, we want to investigate the influence of the porosity hierarchization on the deactivation and regeneration of zeolite catalysts.

This study will be performed partly in the frame of a collaboration with three other groups using analytical characterization of coke (Poitiers), EPR, ENDOR-EPR (Lille), and DNP-NMR (to be conducted in the US).
