LCS Valoris, the bridge between research and business

LCS Valoris supports you with its expertise and flexibility in all your industrial analysis requests or in the context of your research projects.

It is a one-stop shop to explain your problems and find the best contact person within the laboratory to answer them. Cooperation with a university laboratory gives a company access to specific skills and unique laboratory resources.

LCS Valoris undertakes to treat your request as confidential. A confidentiality agreement may be signed before discussing in detail the technical or commercial aspects of your project.
The sectors in which we operate: energy, automotive, environment, pharmaceutical industry, medical devices, cosmetics, plastics and polymers, aeronautics, industry in general.

Please contact us:

LCS Valoris’ service offer is divided into three activities: the provision of routine analyses (customised analyses), expertise (studies and optimisation of catalysts, development of new analysis cells, etc.) and R&D support (design office, analytical development and validation, bibliographical studies, training).

    Analysis ans synthesis

    • Chemical analyses
    • Characterization of materials
    • Analysis of impurities
    • Powder analyses
    • Ground size analyses
    • Catalyst characterization
    • Catalyst controls
    • Raw material controls
    • Thermal analyses
    • Zeolite ans naomaterial syntheses
    • Specific surface area measurements

    Expertise

    • Studies of the catalyst in operation
    • Optimization of catalysts
    • Optimization of catalytic processes
    • Development of new analysis cells
    • Design of new namomaterials and zeolites

    R&D support

    • Design office
    • Analytical development
    • Bibliographical studies
    • Training

Four shared measurement platforms support the daily work of the LCS teams. Of particular note is the IR platform (VISIO), which is based on the laboratory’s historical know-how and has reached a very high degree of maturity, recognized internationally. The solid NMR development has been well underway since early 2017 within a shared platform with the LCMT Laboratory, the Centre Commun de Résonance Magnétique Nucléaire Caennais – CCRC. The other two platforms concern physical synthesis and characterization (platform created in 2009), as well as catalysis and chemisorption.
